About Keith Morant

Over a career spanning more than sixty years, Keith Morant exhibited extensively throughout New Zealand and internationally, with exhibitions and projects in New York, Venice, Florence, London, Madrid, Tokyo, Toronto, Sydney and Beijing.

His work featured in internationally recognised events including the Florence Biennale, The Armory Show in New York and Art Basel Miami, establishing a significant exhibition record that connected Canterbury with audiences across Europe, North America, Asia and Australia.

Today, Keith Morant's legacy continues through the Morant Foundation. Established by Keith and his wife, ceramic artist Patricia (Trishia) Morant, in 2017, the Foundation preserves his artistic legacy while carrying forward their shared commitment to creativity, community and opportunity for Canterbury artists. Curators Chamber is privileged to work alongside the Foundation as steward of Keith's estate, ensuring his remarkable body of work continues to be thoughtfully presented to collectors and the wider public.

Proceeds from every work sold directly support programmes that provide visibility, opportunity and advocacy for Canterbury artists.
