It's something we hear all the time from people who tell us they'd love to own original art. They've spent hours down the online rabbit hole, only to feel overwhelmed, or they've come away feeling as though they need to understand a language they were never taught.

The truth is you don't need to understand every art movement or know how to correctly use art jargon to own a work of art.

It's not about passing a test. It's about what happens when you stand in front of a work that makes you stop, sparks a feeling or a memory, and you simply know you want to live with it and can imagine looking at it every day. That's really the only thing you need to know.

Well... and maybe whether your budget will allow the purchase.

My point is this, art is deeply personal. The artworks you choose to live with are an expression of who you are. They become part of your space, your story, and there is no one more qualified than you to know how a work makes you feel.
