‘Sacred Heart’ features laser cut fluorescent acrylic plastic that overlays and partially obscures the painting beneath. It uses obfuscation to create intrigue. The shaped hole through which you see the painting reveals just enough of the image to be frustrating and draws the viewer in as they seek to see more of what’s being covered.
